What the assembly service includes — in detail
Assembly service doesn't mean "unpacked and set up." It's a complete process before handover:

Complete assembly by an authorized specialist workshop
Handlebars, mirrors, brake levers, pedals, lighting — everything is professionally assembled and checked for correct fit. No loose screws, no incorrectly adjusted components. Assembly by technicians with experience on our vehicles.

Functional testing of all electrical components
Motor, brakes, lighting, display, turn signals, charging port — everything is checked before the vehicle leaves the workshop. Errors are corrected, not passed on.

Final inspection & cleaning
After assembly, a complete final inspection follows — all settings are verified again. The vehicle is cleaned and made ready for handover. You receive a clean, checked product, not a workshop vehicle.

Packaging disposal
The shipping company brings the vehicle — and takes the packaging with them. No cardboard, no Styrofoam, no foils for you to dispose of. One of the most practical aspects of the service.

Upon request, you will receive a brief introduction during handover — display operation, charging process, initial settings. Especially recommended for those buying their first electric vehicle.

Simply select the assembly service as an option at checkout. From €159 — one-time, no subscription. Bookable for all vehicles in the Star-Biker range.
Vehicle is assembled and checked in the specialist workshop
As soon as your vehicle leaves our warehouse, it is fully assembled, function-tested, and prepared for handover in the authorized specialist workshop. This usually takes 1–2 working days in addition to the normal delivery time.
Shipping company delivers the finished vehicle to your doorstep
You will be contacted in advance to arrange a delivery date. The shipping company brings the ready-to-ride vehicle directly to you — not as a package, but as an assembled vehicle.
Handover, instruction, drive off
You receive the vehicle, quickly check it, and sign. Optionally, you receive a brief instruction. The packaging is taken away. You can drive off immediately.

Can I book the assembly service retrospectively?
Ideally, the assembly service should be added directly at the time of purchase. Retrospective bookings are possible as long as the vehicle has not yet been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order at info@star-biker.com.
How long does delivery take with assembly service?
Assembly extends the usual delivery time by 1–2 working days. Total delivery time in Germany: typically 4–7 working days after payment receipt. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking once the vehicle is on its way to you.
Does the assembly service apply to all vehicles?
Yes — the assembly service is available for all vehicles in the Star-Biker range: E-Choppers, E-Scooters, Electric Mobiles, and Cabin Scooters. The price varies depending on the vehicle type and assembly effort. From €159 for E-Scooters and E-Choppers.
What exactly is checked during the functional test?
Motor, braking system, lighting (front, rear, turn signals), display and control unit, charging port and battery, all screws and connections for correct tightening. The vehicle is test driven after assembly before leaving the workshop.
Can I assemble the vehicle myself?
Yes — all vehicles are delivered with assembly instructions and can be assembled by yourself. Assembly tutorials are also available on star-biker.com for self-assembly. The assembly service is optional — recommended for those who want to save time or have little experience with vehicle assembly.
Does the assembly service affect the warranty?
No — the 24-month warranty applies regardless of whether you have booked the assembly service or assemble the vehicle yourself. However, the assembly service by an authorized specialist workshop has the advantage that assembly errors are excluded.
