Since 2025, companies and self-employed individuals can specially depreciate newly acquired electric vehicles by 75% of the acquisition costs in the first year. In addition, there is a complete exemption from vehicle tax for all e-vehicles. Regional programs such as WELMO Berlin offer additional subsidies of up to €5,000.
