Security and value retention for your e-scooter, e-chopper, or cabin scooter. Our voluntary warranty goes beyond the statutory warranty.
Your Star-Biker Warranty at a Glance
As the first buyer, you receive a voluntary warranty against material and manufacturing defects for purely private use. A separate functional warranty of 6 months applies to the battery. This is conditional on proper care and regular maintenance.

Rectification
Repair or replacement of defective parts by Star-Biker or a qualified service partner.
Replacement Solution
If a remedy is economically unreasonable, we will provide an equivalent replacement solution.
Reporting Obligation: 7 Days
Defects must be reported immediately (within 7 days) in writing. Consequential damages due to delayed reporting are not covered.
Battery Warranty: 6 Months
Functional warranty on the battery. Excluded are capacity loss due to aging, as well as damage due to deep discharge, improper storage, or moisture.
Commissioning and Assembly
What you need to observe during initial assembly for your warranty to be valid.
Partially Assembled Delivery
Vehicles are delivered securely packed in a transport carton. For logistical reasons, delivery is partially assembled (e.g., front wheel and attachments). Before the first ride, the vehicle must be professionally assembled and ready for operation.
Warranty Requirement
Assembly must be carried out professionally by you or a specialist workshop. Damage due to improper assembly, neglected safety checks, or operating errors are excluded from the warranty.
Maintenance Intervals for Warranty Preservation
The voluntary warranty requires regular professional maintenance. Without a complete maintenance record, the warranty claim expires.
Break-in service (mandatory) – Complete check of chassis, brakes, and electrics. A mandatory prerequisite for maintaining the voluntary warranty.
First follow-up maintenance after the break-in service.
Second follow-up maintenance – regular use.
Third follow-up maintenance for frequent riders.
Fourth follow-up maintenance – all-round protection.
Planned Maintenance After Initial Service
Our service packages start after the initial service and conveniently cover further maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
Included in all service packages
Maintenance by authorized Star-Biker service partners, documented service protocols for warranty preservation, and personal support with technical advice.
What is excluded from the warranty?
The voluntary warranty covers material defects, but not external influences or wear and tear.
Wearing Parts
Tires, brakes, shock absorbers, lights, grips, and saddle are subject to normal wear and tear and are not covered by the warranty.
Commercial Use
The warranty is only valid for private use. Rental, delivery services, or commercial use will void the warranty.
Tampering and Tuning
Software interventions, tuning, or the installation of third-party components will immediately void any warranty.
Improper Care
Damage caused by high-pressure cleaners, corrosion, or insufficient cleaning is not covered. Maintenance instructions can be found in the user manual.
Statutory Warranty
The voluntary Star-Biker warranty complements your statutory rights. These remain in effect regardless of maintenance or service packages. Please note, however, that after the expiry of the statutory reversal of the burden of proof, the proof of a defect lies with the buyer – this is where our warranty offers you crucial additional protection.

A service package is optional, but it significantly simplifies compliance with maintenance intervals. Without a service package, you must arrange and document maintenance independently with a qualified service partner.
Yes – if you carry out the assembly professionally and according to the instructions. Damage due to improper assembly is excluded from the warranty. Alternatively, we offer a professional assembly service starting from €159.
