Four colors — and a rear you design yourself
The M1P Basic is available in four paint finishes. All four cost the same, so there is no surcharge for color.
If you want a more individual rear, you can retrofit the Custom Rear Fender Set. The indicators and taillight are located directly in the fender instead of on the outside of the frame, which makes the rear appear noticeably cleaner. The lighting is EEC and COC compliant, a license plate holder as well as a cable set and struts are included.
The set is available in the same four colors as the vehicle — so you can stick to a single tone or consciously create a contrast. A black chopper with a red fender stands out much more than an all-black one.
Driver's License and License Plate
The M1P Basic is a moped with a speed of 45 km/h. It can be ridden with driver's license class AM — which is automatically included in class B. So, if you have a car driver's license, you don't need anything else. Helmet use is mandatory.
Instead of registration, you need an insurance license plate. You can get this directly from an insurance company, usually within a few minutes, and it is valid until the end of February of the following year. Detailed information can be found under Driver's License & Requirements.
Charging without a wallbox
The battery weighs 9 kilograms and is removable. This may sound like a detail, but in everyday life, it determines how practical an e-vehicle is. You don't need a garage, a wallbox, or an electrical connection at the parking space — the battery comes with you into the apartment and charges there from a normal socket.
