We are expanding our logistics —
what this means for availability and spare parts
Star-Biker is expanding its warehouse capacity in the DACH region. For you in Germany, nothing changes about the ordering and delivery process — but the availability of vehicles and spare parts will. Here's what's behind it and what is explicitly not included.

An e-chopper is not a pair of headphones. Eventually, you'll need a brake lever, a charger, a turn signal — in the worst case, a battery. And then what matters is not what the vehicle cost, but whether someone is there who can deliver.
We purchase our vehicles in advance, bring them to our own warehouse via sea freight through Rotterdam, and ship them from there. Starting in August, additional warehouse space will be added.
- We are expanding our warehouse capacity in the DACH region
- For you, the ordering and delivery process remains unchanged
- Your warranty terms remain unchanged — no new clauses
- Deliveries continue to come from the German central warehouse, with no customs formalities
- Repairs continue to be handled by our own workshop and service partner network
Grown Step by Step
We import directly, store ourselves, deliver ourselves, and repair in our own workshop. This is the prerequisite for even being able to stock spare parts.
Founding
The first e-choppers, directly imported. Started small, with the ambition that electric mobility doesn't have to look like a toy.
Own Workshop Instead of Outsourcing
External companies are not familiar with these vehicles. So we build our own: own mechanics, own diagnostic equipment, own responsibility.
Market Entry Germany
With star-biker.com comes our own domain, own logistics with a German central warehouse, and German-language support.
Out to the Customers
Anyone buying a vehicle wants to touch it first. So we go to events — and simultaneously build up our service partner network so that no one has to drive for hours.
Additional Warehouse Space
More than 5,000 delivered vehicles later, we are expanding capacity. The German central warehouse remains the core of supply — the new space complements, it does not replace.
What changes for you — and what doesn't
| Area | Previously | From August |
|---|---|---|
| Order | Via star-biker.com | Unchanged |
| Delivery | Forwarder from German central warehouse | Unchanged — no customs formalities, no additional costs |
| Delivery time | Depending on model and availability | Unchanged |
| Registration | COC, insurance license plate or TÜV depending on class | Unchanged |
| Warranty conditions | According to warranty services | Unchanged — no new clauses |
| Repair | Own workshop and service partner | Unchanged |
| Spare parts inventory | One warehouse space | Larger overall inventory |
| Risk of failure | One location as a single bottleneck | Distributed across two locations |
What more warehouse space doesn't achieve
Your delivery won't be faster, your warranty won't be longer. A component discontinued by the manufacturer won't magically appear, even with more square meters of space.
What improves is resilience: If a container arrives three weeks late in Rotterdam or a batch has issues, not everything will come to a halt simultaneously.
Spare Parts — what really matters
The parts that fail in everyday use are manageable and often identical across model series: brake pads and brake levers, tires and tubes, turn signals and lights, chargers, controllers, displays. We concentrate our warehousing on these parts.
This does not imply a guarantee of availability for every single part.
What is covered in the event of a warranty claim can be found under Warranty Services. Repairs are handled by our own workshop and the service partner network. If something happened during transport: Report damage, preferably directly upon handover, while the driver is still there.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Orders placed via star-biker.com will continue to be shipped exclusively from the German central warehouse. You will incur no customs formalities and no additional costs. The new warehouse space serves capacity and spare parts supply, not shipping.
No. The warranty conditions remain unchanged; no clause is added, and none is removed. Your statutory warranty rights as a consumer apply in full regardless.
Not automatically — shipping routes remain the same. What improves is availability: the overall inventory increases, and a bottleneck at one location no longer paralyzes the entire supply. However, this does not imply a guarantee of availability for every single part.
Repairs are handled by our own workshop, which we established in 2022, or by our service partner network. Report the case via customer service, and we'll clarify the quickest way for you.
Delays in sea freight cannot be ruled out by anyone; this affects the entire industry. Our approach is stockholding: we purchase vehicles and common parts before orders are placed. With more warehouse space, the quantity that can be buffered increases — but no importer can offer complete protection against bottlenecks.
Yes — that's why we've been attending events since 2024. Several models are displayed side-by-side there, you can sit on them and ask all your questions at once. You can find current dates under Trade Fairs & Events.
Not a milestone, but a safeguard
More warehouse space won't make your vehicle faster or cheaper. It's an answer to the most crucial question when buying online: Will someone still be there in two years if I need a part? Five years, over 5,000 vehicles, own workshop, now more capacity. The standard is the same as day one. Personal. Reliable. With genuine service.
