Compatibility
The adapter accommodates the two common plug types in the EU:
- Euro plug (Type C): The flat two-pin plug of many chargers and small appliances.
- Schuko/Hybrid plug (CEE 7/7): The round plug with a hole for the earthing pin, as used on most vehicle chargers.
Older, purely Schuko plugs (CEE 7/4) without an earthing hole do not fit due to their design. If in doubt, take a quick look at your charger's plug: If it has a round hole on the top side, it will fit.
Expert Tip
Safe charging: Always plug the adapter directly into a permanently installed wall socket and use it indoors. For permanently installed charging points, we recommend equipping the charger with a hard-wired Swiss connection – the adapter is the perfect solution for everyday use, but it does not replace an electrical installation. Not suitable for heating devices or other continuous consumers at the power limit.

Does the plug of my Star-Biker charger fit into the adapter?
Yes – the chargers for our e-choppers, bobbers, and e-scooters are equipped with Euro plugs (Type C) or hybrid plugs (CEE 7/7), and both fit into this adapter.
Can I leave the adapter plugged in permanently in the garage?
For regular charging, this is not a problem. The adapter is designed for indoor use – the socket should be dry and permanently installed. For overnight charging, as always: place the charger on a firm, non-combustible surface.
Is the load capacity sufficient for my vehicle charger?
Plenty: Our vehicles' chargers typically draw 2–5 amperes. The adapter can handle a maximum of 10 amperes (2300 watts), giving it ample reserve.
