Expert Tip
Lever replacement & lubrication: Changing the brake lever is straightforward. Simply loosen the lock nut on the underside and pull the retaining bolt upwards. When inserting the new lever, make sure that the small pressure pin rests exactly on the brake pump piston and does not jam. Lightly grease the retaining bolt with some multi-purpose grease before insertion – this ensures consistently smooth lever operation without annoying squeaking.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Product
Do I always have to buy a set?
No, not at all. If, for example, your chopper fell on the right side, you can conveniently and affordably order the right brake lever from us individually.
Which lever is responsible for which brake?
As is common with motorcycles and scooters, the right brake lever operates the front brake and the left brake lever operates the rear brake.
Do I have to bleed the brake after changing the lever?
As long as you only replace the lever and do not open the hydraulic line or the brake pump reservoir, the system does not need to be bled afterwards.
At Star-Biker, we place great importance on fast and reliable delivery of your order. Whether you're ordering accessories, spare parts, or a new vehicle from us, we'll take care of everything to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.
