Charging Process & Ventilation: Since the charger charges with a strong 5 amps, heat is generated inside, which is dissipated by the integrated fan. Never cover the charger during the charging process and ideally charge your battery in a well-ventilated, dry place (e.g., not in direct summer sun). Always connect the charger to the battery (or the vehicle) first, and then plug the power cord into the wall socket to avoid voltage spikes.

How long does it take to charge my battery?
You can easily calculate this: Divide the capacity of your battery (Ah) by the charging current (5A). A completely empty 30Ah battery takes about 6 hours, a 45Ah battery about 9 hours to fully charge.
Can I leave the charger plugged in overnight?
Yes. The intelligent charging electronics automatically stop the charging process (the LED usually changes from red to green) as soon as the battery is full. However, to protect the components, we still recommend disconnecting the device from the mains after completion.
Is it normal for the charger to make noise?
Yes, that is completely normal. The gentle hum comes from the integrated fan, which actively protects the high-performance electronics from overheating during the 5A charging process.
