Charging Process & Ventilation: Since the charger operates at a powerful 10 Amperes, considerable heat is generated inside, which must be dissipated by the integrated fan. Never cover the charger during the charging process and ideally charge your battery in a well-ventilated, dry place (e.g., not in direct summer sunlight). Always connect the charger to the battery (or vehicle) first, and then plug the power cord into the wall outlet to avoid material-damaging voltage spikes.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Product
How quickly will my battery be fully charged with 10A?
You can easily calculate this: Divide the capacity of your battery (Ah) by the charging current (10A). A completely empty 30Ah battery will only take about 3 hours with this power supply, while a large 45Ah battery will be ready to use again in a rapid 4.5 hours.
Can I leave the charger plugged in overnight?
Yes. The intelligent charging electronics automatically switch off the charging process (the LED usually changes from red to green) once the battery is full. To protect the electronics, we still recommend disconnecting the device from the power supply after charging is complete.
Is it normal for the charger to be louder than my old 5A model?
Yes, that is completely normal. With a strong 10 Amperes of charging power, the integrated fan has to work much harder to actively protect the high-performance electronics from overheating.
