Are you a scooter or motorcycle rider and want a direct, agile driving experience in the city? Then the handlebar version is better. Technically, in terms of cabin and cost, both are identical.

For the 45 km/h version, a Class AM driver's license (from 16 y.o.) or Class B (regular car driver's license) is sufficient. The 25 km/h version requires a moped driving license. Those born before April 1, 1965, can drive the 25 km/h version in Germany without a license.
