Why Star-Biker for Delivery Riders?
Your Success as an Uber Eats Driver
Why the right vehicle makes all the difference — and how to maximize your profit per delivery.
Anyone looking to start as an Uber Eats driver often faces the question: Which vehicle is most efficient? While many beginners think of a car, the facts quickly paint a different picture. A conventional car incurs high acquisition costs (often over €30,000) and enormous running costs for fuel and wear and tear. An electric delivery scooter or an e-chopper from Star-Biker is the smart and significantly more profitable alternative.
Which driver's license do you need for Uber Eats?
For our 25-km/h e-choppers, all you need is a moped driving license. The popular 45-km/h models (like the Chopper 6.0s) can be driven with a Class AM license or a regular Class B car driving license. For maximum performance, the M1PS Knight offers speeds up to 85 km/h — ideal for the B196 extension, which allows you to drive 125cc models after a short training course without an exam.
Perfectly equipped with the delivery driver package
Star-Biker not only offers you the vehicle, but a complete starter package for delivery drivers. In addition to your e-chopper, this includes a robust, weatherproof delivery box and all necessary COC documents for immediate road approval. Whether you are looking for an agile delivery vehicle or a comfortable cabin scooter for daily delivery operations — we ensure that you can deliver sustainably, quietly, and with maximum profit.
Frequently asked questions about delivery operations
Yes, Uber Eats expressly accepts scooter deliveries. With a Star-Biker e-chopper (25–45 km/h), you meet the requirements, provided you have a valid driving license and a registration certificate part I.
Our Chopper 6.0s Premium is equipped with a 57 Ah lithium-ion battery, which allows ranges of up to 200 km — ideal for long shifts in urban areas.
Electric scooters up to 45 km/h are extremely inexpensive to maintain. You only need an insurance plate, which costs only about 30 to 50 euros annually. In addition, no vehicle taxes apply.
The B196 regulation, in effect since 2020, allows driving 125cc e-scooters up to 11 kW with a Class B car driving license. You must be at least 25 years old, have held the Class B license for 5 years, and complete a short training course without an exam.
Our e-choppers feature removable lithium-ion batteries. You charge them at any 230V outlet — no special charging infrastructure is needed. Ideal overnight or during your lunch break.
For our 25-km/h and 45-km/h models, no registration with the road traffic office is necessary — a simple insurance plate is sufficient. Only more powerful models over 45 km/h must be officially registered.
