Expert Tip
Assembly & Connection: Replacing the display is very straightforward thanks to the Plug & Play connectors. When connecting the new cables, ensure that the small pins in the connector are not bent and that the waterproof seal clicks audibly into place. Route the cable neatly and without tension along the handlebars down into the headlight mask or to the controller, to prevent cable breaks when the handlebars are turned fully.

Will the mileage be retained if I replace the display?
The total mileage (ODO) is usually stored in the display itself. A new display will therefore generally start again from zero kilometers.
Is the display easily readable in sunlight?
Yes. The standard LCD technology was specifically designed with high contrast to minimize glare and guarantee clear readability even on bright, sunny days.
Do I need to solder or program anything for the installation?
No. The display is already perfectly matched to the HL6.0 / 6.0s controller ex works. Connection is simply made by plugging in the appropriate connectors.
