The 45 km/h version requires Class AM (from 16 years old) or Class B — a regular car driver's license is sufficient. The 85 km/h version is a full-fledged electric motorcycle and requires Class A, A1, A2 or the B196 extension.

Both versions share the same design, the same 40 Ah Samsung battery (72V), and the same high-quality equipment. The difference lies in the top speed — 45 km/h with AM/B driver's license versus 85 km/h as a full-fledged e-motorcycle with A1/B196.

The front wheel of the M1PS Knight is delivered separately and must be assembled. Assembly takes approx. 30–45 minutes. The assembly video shows every step.

With the 45 km/h version up to 140 km, with the 85 km/h version up to 130 km. The 40 Ah Samsung SDI battery (72V) is removable and can be charged at any standard power outlet with the 15A fast charger.

The 45 km/h version can be derestricted to up to 65 km/h — intended for private property or outside public road traffic. On public roads in Germany, the 45 km/h approval applies.

Yes — both versions require an official license plate in Germany. Star-Biker provides all necessary documents, including the COC document, for registration at the Road Traffic Office.
