Chopper 6.0s — the best-selling Star-Biker E-Chopper. Compact, suitable for everyday use, Samsung 57Ah (Premium) or 30Ah (Basic). Bobber M8S Custom — low frame, wide tires, unmistakable retro look. M1P Custom — exclusive to Star-Biker, 45 km/h, urban chopper style. M1PS Knight — up to 85 km/h, Samsung 40Ah/72V, 160 Nm. Driving License & Registration
Which driving license — for which E-Chopper?
25 km/h: Moped test certificate from 15 years — or completely license-free for anyone born before April 1, 1965. Insurance plate, no TÜV inspection, no vehicle tax. Available for Chopper 6.0s and M1PS Knight.
45 km/h: Driving license Class AM (from 16 years) or car driving license Class B — no motorcycle course, no additional examination. Insurance plate, no TÜV inspection. All models available.
85 km/h: Class A1, A2, A or B196 extension of the car driving license. Official license plate, TÜV every 2 years, all roads except motorways. Available for M1PS Knight and Bobber M8S Custom.
All E-Choppers are delivered with a COC document and are immediately registrable.
Technology & Battery
Samsung SDI batteries — removable, up to 150 km range
All Star-Biker E-Choppers are equipped with Samsung SDI lithium-ion batteries — no no-name cells, up to 2,600 charging cycles, 7–10 years of service life. The batteries are removable and charge at any 230V household socket — no wallbox, no charging station necessary.
Ranges: Chopper 6.0s Premium up to 150 km (Samsung 57Ah), M1PS Knight up to 140 km (40Ah/60V) or up to 130 km (40Ah/72V). All models come with a fast charger (10A–15A). Drive: brushless hub motor — low maintenance, quiet, powerful.

Star-Biker E-Choppers are not showbikes — they are ridden daily. No traffic jams, no parking problems, no fuel costs. The removable battery charges at home or in the office. Full-LED lighting, digital cockpit, keyless drive and alarm system are standard on most models.
For daily commuting, the 45 km/h variant is recommended — it is approved on all roads except motorways and does not require an official license plate. For overland routes and more dynamism, the 85 km/h version of the M1PS Knight or M8S Custom is the right choice.

That depends on your driver's license and intended use. For city traffic without a motorcycle license: Chopper 6.0s or M1P Custom (45 km/h, Class B is sufficient). For interurban routes with more dynamism: M1PS Knight or Bobber M8S Custom (85 km/h, Class A1). For completely license-free riding: 25 km/h variant of the Chopper 6.0s or M1PS Knight.
Yes — all 45 km/h models can be ridden with a Class B car driver's license. No motorcycle course, no additional test. For 85 km/h models, Class A1, A2, A, or the B196 extension of the car driver's license is required (9 driving lessons, approx. €600–€1,000).
